Brought
up in Ireland, Lucy is now a London based photographer. She took
up photography in 1990 and completed her photographic studies in
Ireland where she exhibited as part of the European Signals Festival
of Photography in 1994 and 1996. |

|
|
|
Lucy
moved to London in 1996; she is a member of the London Independent
Photography group and exhibited in their annual exhibition in 1999
at the Chocolate Factory, Wood Green and again in 2001 at Lauderdale
House, Highgate. She also exhibited at the V&A's staff exhibition
in 2001. |

|
|
|
Lucy
undertook her first solo exhibition, "Elements"
at the Dissenter's Gallery, Kensal Green Cemetary in June 2000.
This was followed in 2002 by her second exhibition, "New
York Reflections", also at Kensal Green. |

|
|
|
|
In
2002, she was commissioned by the Kensington and Chelsea Community
History Group to photograph 30 Irish people for an oral history
project entitled "Irish Lives"
and exhibited at the London Lighthouse. |

|
|
|
|
In addition
to this portrait work, she has also undertaken some portrait work
with animals. Her other work includes a CD cover of the debut
single of the band, Small Victories, "Holding
on Hopefully".

|
|
Lucy's
latest exhibition is entitled "Rues
de Paris" and the photographs were taken during a week's
visit to Paris in September 2003. |

|
|
Among
Lucy's favourite photographers are Ernst Haas, Brassai, André
Kertesz and Horst Hamann. |
